ADAM
PRODUCT TO APPEAR ON NBC'S TODAY SHOW
NEW YORK CITY - Adam
Equipment's CPWplus scale will be featured Monday November 3, 2008 during a Today Show segment
about eating habits.

The
segment -aired around 8:40a.m. - in a demonstration of eating habits filmed in October by NBC
producers and the Cornell University Food and Brand Lab. The college is examining the
environmental factors - such as plate size, package size and social environment - that can lead
to overeating.
In early October, NBC Today Show producer Robert Powell
called Adam Equipment and asked if a CPWplus could be used for the filming. Tom Storey, a
company spokesman, said Adam was delighted to participate.
"Apparently,
researchers at Cornell have been using our scales and they recommended to NBC that they contact
us," Tom Storey said. "So we were able to participate in not only an event that will give our
brand national exposure, but also in an important university project studying how we eat and
why."
