ADAM EQUIPMENT RELEASES ADAM DU DATA COLLECTION SOFTWARE
Powerful Utility Captures Data Simultaneously From Up To Eight Adam Balances
Adam Equipment, a world-class manufacturer of mass measurement equipment, has introduced Adam DU Data Collection Software, a new software utility that collects balance and scale data in real time for immediate analysis or for exporting to other applications. The software is easy to set up and can record data from up to eight Adam balances and scales simultaneously. Adam DU is capable of providing graphing and statistic analysis for the collected data and the utility can remotely manage many settings of Adam balances that are in another location.
“More and more people are incorporating weight data into their systems to take advantage of computer data processing” said Alan Storey, Director of Adam Equipment. “The Adam DU is an affordable way to implement an easy to use solution. The software is designed to work with most of our balances and scales, without needing complex programming skills. It even lets you analyze the data right from within the user interface.” Adam DU Software monitors and collects data readings from up to eight Adam balances or scales at a time. Balances do not have to be the same model or from the same line. All captured readings include corresponding date and time records, and some of the balances can even send their serial number for exact referencing back to the balance that was used to record the data. For further efficiency and accuracy in reporting, up to six fields (such as batch number or part number) can be customized and entered on the computer when taking the readings, plus individual session settings and file names can be stored and retrieved. Users can control or adjust certain balance settings right from their computer, such as changing the weighing unit or even instructing the balance to perform an internal calibration; control options vary with each balance line. Adam DU provides maximum flexibility for data management. Captured readings can be exported into Microsoft® Excel or Microsoft® Word at the click of a button. However, if integration with systems is required, Adam DU constantly refreshes readings in text, CSV, HTML, and XML file formats for importing to other software applications. Adam DU also provides real time graph readings with key statistics in view for easy monitoring of Min, Max, Median, Mean, Variance, and Standard Deviation. With quick search functions and printing capability, Adam DU software accommodates many industrial and lab data management needs.
Adam DU Software is compatible with most Adam product lines: PGW Precision Balances, PW Analytical Balances, ACBplus Portable Balances, CBD Counting Scales, CBC Bench Counting Scales, CPWplus Weighing Scales, ADK Precision Balances, CBK Bench Scales, BFW Platform Scales, AZextra Retail Scales, and AE 202 Indicators. The software requires Windows® 98SE, Windows® 2000, Windows® ME, Windows XP® or Windows Vista™.
Fourteen-day, single-user trials of fully enabled Adam DU Software can be downloaded for evaluation at www.Adam DU.com. The program can be purchased directly from Adam online or from any authorized Adam dealer. List price for Adam DU is US $75.
