NEW WAREHOUSE IN RESPONSE TO GROWING U.S. MARKETSHARE
Facility Ensures Superior Quality Control Levels and Speedy Order Fulfillment Will Continue
Danbury, CT (September 5, 2007) – Adam Equipment, a world-class manufacturer of mass measurement equipment, has just completed the construction of a spacious new warehouse that was built to meet the increasing needs of the company’s growing dealer network. The expanded facility is adjacent to the company’s US headquarters in Danbury, Connecticut and houses higher inventory levels as well as a larger quality control testing area. The new warehouse is fully operational with all inventory and staff moved over to the space without any service interruption to the company’s North American and South American customers.
“The new US warehouse is over three times as large as our current facility,” said Jeremy Storey, Director of US Operations for Adam Equipment. “Our resellers have come to expect rapid order fulfillment and a high level of QC from us. We expanded the warehouse to ensure that we would continue to meet the service expectations of our dealers.”
The newly-opened warehouse provides ample room to house larger stock levels of the company’s existing lines of balances and scales, and it is also ready to accommodate several new lines that are slated for release during Q4 of 2007 and Q1 of 2008. The remaining floor space is used for an enlarged testing and quality control area so that the company can continue to calibrate and test every digital balance before shipping, as has been its policy since Adam’s US operation opened. The entire facility has proper temperature and humidity controls to maintain optimal storage conditions for even the most sensitive balance models from the company’s wide range of mass measurement equipment.
